Trailer tracking.
Scenarios
Trailers and other attachments to vehicles with IoTplot terminals fitted, can be tracked by proximity using wireless beacons. Similarly, the beacon can be attached to tools or equipment that are hauled or transported in a vehicle’s cargo compartment. This is a more economical arrangment than installing separate trackers on the trailers, however, when the trailer separates from the main vehicle, it will register the separation location, and only begin tracking again when within range of the vehicle. This means it is not the best option for recovering stolen trailers.
