The Eye Sensor is a rugged, IP67 rated wireless beacon/sensor, made by Teltonika. It is fully compatible with both OBD and wire-in IoTplot terminals, has a range of up to 80m and can be used as either a beacon (for identifying assets much like a tracking chip), or a sensor (for monitoring temperature, humidity and magnetic presence). The device has a built in battery with a life of 2.5+ years.
These devices extend the functionality of your terminal beyond fleet management, and into the IoT realm. They must be provisioned for your account, and this configuration is included in our cost for this device. When you purchase this device, a unique code will be provided to you. If you use the device as a beacon (for tracking goods, trailers etc.), you can configure the associated asset details using this code. You may find more details in the guide. If you use the device as a temperature, humidity or magnet sensor, the information will be displayed for the associated unit.

Mounting options
1) Place: Directly place the device on a surface such as a table or shelf
2) Using the adhesive sticker: Remove the release liner from one side of the adhesive sticker to stick it on the back of the device, then remove the release liner from the other side to stick it at the desired place on the wall.
3) Using screws: Place the device on the surface and secure it to the surface using two screws
4) Ziptie: Lead ziptie through both device holes and around an object you want device secured to
5) Hanging: Attach lanyard’s snap hook to one of the holes

Geolime will honor the manufacturer warranty for a period of 12 months. All batteries carry a reduced 6 month warranty period. Post warranty repair service for this product is not provided. If a product fails within mentioned warranty period the product can be:
- Repaired;
- Replaced with a new product;
- Replaced with an equivalent repaired product fulfilling the same functionality;
- Replaced with a different product fulfilling the same functionality in case of EOL for the original product.
Please note that warranty coverage does not cover defects or malfunctions caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, catastrophes, improper maintenance or inadequate installation – not following operating instructions (including failure to heed warnings), or use with equipment with which is not intended to be used. Warranty does not apply to any consequential damages. Customer is only allowed to return product as a result of the product being defective, due to order assembly or manufacturing fault.
During the return merchandise authorization (RMA) part of the warranty process, a technician examines the information provided by a customer in an RMA request form in order to determine whether the equipment is eligible for warranty repair. The RMA request form contains company, addressing and malfunctioning product information and must be filled out by the product’s owner and approved by a Geolime technician before returning a product.
